ASSAULT ON A BOY.

MAX FOUND GUILTY. A verdict of guilty was returned by the jury at the Supreme Court yesterday afternoon in the charge against Beauchamp Walesby, who was re-tried for an alleged indecent assault on a boy at Remuera in October last. Mr Justice Stringer deferred sentence till la.ter. Walesby, who conducted his own defence, gave evidence in support of an alibi, and called witnesses as w> character.
