PEIROGRAD'S PERIL
A BOLSHEVIK DENIAL FALL NOT IMMINENT. (Received 10.25 a.m.) LONDON, May 29. The Bolsheviks deny the statements made by the Finns and Esthonians that the fall of Petrograd is imminent. British submarines have been sent to the Baltic to assist a powerful squadron cf British surface ships against the Bolshevist fleet. It is stated that General Mannerheim, with the Finnish army, is within 20 miles of Petrograd. He expects to enter the city in a few days. The Bolshevik authorities have left Petrograd, and are going to Moscow.— (A. and X.Z. Cable.)
