BOTH TRAINING STEADILY. (Received 5.30 a.m.) LOS ANGELES, May 28. Jess Willard, the world's champion heavyweight boxer, has begun hard training for his match with Jack Dempsey at Toledo, Ohio, on July 4. He weighs 2601b (ISst 81b), the same weight as when he fought Moran.. Willard says that he weighed. 2401b when he fought Johnson, and he hopes to weigh 2501b when he meets Dempsey. v The challenger has also arrived at TLos Angeles, and has engaged Strangler Lewis, the famous wrestler, as his trainer.—(A. and X.Z.
