YOUNG MAN KILLED.
BURIED EN" GRAVEL PIT, {By Telegraph—Press Association.) MORRnsT-SVILLE, this day.A young man named Edward- Arthur Parkin-son, son of Mr. T. Parkinson, of Motumaoho, who was working for the Piako County Council, was killed by a fall of earth at the county council pit yesterday. He was seen going with a team to the pit in the morning, and was found buried in the evening under a quantity of dirt. Deceased was a returned soldier, about 20 years of age, and was only recently married.
