INSULATED SHIPPING.
FARMERS' SERIOUS POSITION, (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. After some discussion on the subject of the shortage of space in the freezing works, the following resolutions, were pa.-sed at the conference of the Wellingtor Provincial Farmers' Union: —"That this conference brings before the Government the serious position of the fanning community owing to the shortage ot insulated shipping and the consequent congestion of meat in the cold stores oi the Dominion. That the Dominion conference be asked to e-all a meeting of the Shipping Committee with the object ot forwarding a plan to safeguard shipping interests."
