POLICE COURT.
(Before Mr. J. E. Wilson, SM.) DRUNKENNESS. Thomas Stephen Davis (54), who made his seventh appearance for drunkenness within the past three months, despite the fact that he was now prohibited, was sentenced to a month's imprisonment- Two first offenders were convicted and discharged. MISCEI/LANEOTJS. Matthew Dickson (17), on two charges of theft was remanded till Friday. MAINTENANCE. Grace Clark applied to have the order of 25/ a week against her husband for the support of herself and three children increased. The husband, Albert Clark, said his wages were £4 10/ a week, but that he could not offer more than 30/ a week. The magistrate remarked that it was ridiculous to expect a woman and three children to live on 25/ a week, and he increased the order to £2 a week.
