AMERICAN WHEAT SUPPLIES.
BIG SURPLUS FOB EXPORT. According to the "American Exporter," the wheat crop of 101S-10 hi the United States amounted to OlT.ijoo.ouo bushels. The article states further that, allowing lor exports up to April last, requirements for home consumption, and seeding requirements, there should he an estimated surplus of l.Jl.OckuxJO bushel*. Estimates of the new wheat crop run as hijfh as 1.200,000,000 bushels, and with the carryover ft is doubtful if much more than half of that can be consumed.
