SELECTION" POSTPONED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Thursday. Advice was received to-day that the selection of the New Zealand Rhodes scholar has been postponed until OctoDer 8, in order to give students on active service an opportunity to present their claims. The position with reference to the ISSI Exhibition scholarship is somewhat similar, and the University Senate, which meets in Wellington thus week, is expected to postpone the award !"•'■" a considerable time.
