GERMANY'S LOST FLEET.
DIVISION AMONG ALLIES IN PROPORTION TO LOSSES. NEW YORK, May 2. The Paris correspondent of the New York "World" stutes that the German lleet will be divided among the Allies. It has been tentatively agreed that Britain shall receive six Dreadnoughts and six battle-cruisers, France nine warships Japan three, and Italy five. ~ The correspondent adds that the distribution of the lleet will be based on Allied naval losses. The United States will not benefit by tlie distribution. The smaller craft will be distributed ::mong the smaller AUied nations. France is not satisfied with the arrangement, and wishes apportionment to be on the basis of loss of life in the war in all branches of service. Another message from Paris reports that tho naval terms do not provide for the sinking of tbe German warships, tlie question being held in abeyance.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
