FOMENTED BY BOLSHEVIKS. (Received 10.20 a.m.) SHANGHAI, April 6. Uprisings in Korea continue. There is a steady stream of reports from missionary sources accusing the Japanese authorities of suppressing Korean demonstrations for self-determination. Undoubtedly the most aerious casualties have been among the Koreans, who arc without firearms, while thousands were gaoled.
Tokyo advices of a semi-official nature state that disturbances in Korea are spreading throughout the whole peninsula. Over a hundred risings have occurred in the past few days, rioters, armed with clubs and axes, assaulting the police, burning the past offices and Government buildings, and cutting telegraph wires. The cause of the rioters' sudden violence is due to pressure of Bolshevik propagandists, whose headquarters are at Chientao and Shanghai, where anti-Japanese Koreans have been dispatched to instigate rebellion- —(A. and N.Z.
