FLIGHT ACROSS THE "POND."
AUSTRALIAN BIVALS. (Received 9.35 a.m.) LONDON, March 26. Considerable interest is being taken in the rivalry of the Australian aviators in the trans-Atlantic flight. Hawker hopes to commence his flight from Newfoundland within ten days. Pickles, the Sydney airman, formally entered the competition yesterday. He says that he thinks he can complete the flight in fourteen hours. If he won. it would be a ?reat thing for Australia.— (A. and 352. Cable.)
