BUT FEARS FOR SUPPLIES. ■" VIENNA, March 25. A great demonstration against tbe lAUies favoured a Soviet republic, but the Austrian Central Workmen's Council rejected Hungarian overtures owing to the dependence of Austria on the Allies for food. Political circles fear an extension of the Hungarian Bolshevism to Poland and the Balkans. Professor' Masaryk has resigned Presidency of the Czecho-Slovak State. It is reported that Hungary's Bolshevik Government is gaining support, and is determined to resist Polish, Czechoslovak, and Rumanian encroachments. The Communists disarmed 247 Allied troops in Budapest. The Allied mission has left the city. The Bolshevik movement is spreading to Bosnia, Croatia, and Slavonia. Armed peasants and workmen are fighting the Serbians, among whom it is reported that Bolshevism is gaining influence. The Communists have occupied the-banks in jrarious parts of Hungary.— (A. and •_.___. Cable.)
