Kaiapoi Woollen shares were a shade firmer to-day on 'Change, being wanted at £7 fi/, but sellers were ready to accept three shillings advance upon that figure. Insurance stocks maintained prices, and an extra sixpence was offered to-day for Standards. Auckland Gas were also a shade firmer, 26/9 being offered for paid and 18/6 for contributing issue. Huddart Parker steam could be got to-day at £2, but the best offer was £1 19/-.
