BOLSHEVIK DEFEATS.
EAST, WEST, AND SOUTH. UKRAINIANS TAKE PRZEMTSI* RETREAT IN THE URALS. (Received 11.41 m.m.) LONDON, March 18. Reports from Omsk state that the Siberian army has successfully begun an offensive against the Bolsheviks. The Bolsheviks admit that they are retreating in the Southern Urale. The Esthonians counter-attacked on i the Pskov front, south-west of PetrogTad, : heavily defeating the Bolsheviks. ' The"Ukrainians have entered Przemysl. The Ukraine has refused the Allies' con l j ditions for assisting against the Bolshcjviks.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.) ! Archangel reports state that fighting against the Bolsheviks is still in progress. . Five hundred of the enemy were killed in a fortnight. Additional Itueslin forces are being trained to supplement the I Allies' efforts. The Bolsheviks, up to March 1, spent three hundred million roubles on foreign propaganda. It is alleged that a large sum was devoted to British newspapers.
