FRENCH MAIL LINE.
RESUMPTION OF SERVICE. Cable advice was received in Sydney on March 5 to the effect that the j French mail steamer El Kantara had I sailed from Marseilles for Sydney. This sailing marks the resumption of ■ the French mail service to Australia and j New Caledonia. .Several cargo steamers •; will, it is reported, also come to AusI tralia under the auspices of the M._ L.' Company.
