QUARANTINE STATIONS.
INADEQUATE ACCOMMODATION. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. __ One effect of the visit of the Epidemic i-ommiSßion to the quarantine station at Somes Island is to draw attention to the total inadequacy of the buildings there for the purpose. They are forty years old, worm eaten, and deficient of every convenience. They cannot accommodate any large number of people, and it is estimated a large sum would be required to mstal ■buildings and appliances suitable for accommodating a large number of persons.
