Mr. H. H. Pattle leaves Dunedin on Saturday for Auckland, to take over the management of Roulston's wholesale produce, seed fertilizer and grain business. Before going into camp Mr. Pattle was Dunedin managing partner in the firm of Bray Bros. He was a member of the Executive of the Second Division League. Mr. Pattle was entertained by members of "R" j Battery, Second' Division Training Class, who took advantage of the opportunity to make him a presentation. Albert Barman, of Whangarei. baker, has filed a petition in bankruptcy. His schedule supplied to Mr. W. S. Fisher, the Official Assignee, shows the sum of £410 6/ owing to unsecured creditors, this comprising the total liabilities. Assets are valued at £10(8 4/1, made up of stock in trade £94 19/7, book debts estimated to prod ice their full value of £13 4/0, leaving a deficiency of £30----1/11.
