WOMEN'S NATIONAL RESERVE.

CONFERENCE OF DELEGATES. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Saturday. The first conference of delegates of the Women's National Reserve, representing all centres and sub-centres of the Dominion, opened at Wellington, and it is expected will conclude its deliberations today. The assembly has shown harmony in discussing all its aims and objects, and much practical business has resulted. It was unanimously resolved to continue the organisation under the new constitution and rules. A "Dominion Govern- I ing Council" was formed. Mrs. Corliss was elected Dominion president, and Mrs Porter Dominion organiser. In addition to the business transacted the Ministers of Defence and Internal Affairs jiave appropriate addresses. The conference | adopted Sir Andrew Russell's motto, "Each for All."
