TRAINING SOLDIERS
IN NEW VOCATIONS. APPOINTMENT OF OFFICERS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, thie day. Sir James Allen states that the Department's scheme for vocational training of soldiers prior to discharge is now j fairly under way. Four officers have . been appointed, viz., Captain Penlington (Auckland), Lieutenant Wray (Wellington), lieutenant Moore (Canterbury), and Lieutenant Zeisler (Otago).
