LUDENDORFF'S HUMILIATION.

ABJECT PLEA TO GERMANY. BERLIN, March 2. General Ludcndorff has published a letter asking the German people to exonerate him. He declares he always consulted public opinion, which was the backbone of the army's moral. He never advocated the annihilation of the enemy. He advocated peace on the status quo basis. It was not true that he demanded the armistice, but he realised that there was no time to lose after Bulgaria's surrender. The Paris correspondent of the "New York Tribune" states that Mr. Frank Bohhn, a prominent American Socialist, learns authoritatively that Lmdendorff planned the German revolution for the purpose of gaining the armistice.— (A and N.Z. Cable.)
