ON ITALIAN FRONTIER. ISOWTZO JJOTE SUGGESTED. A GRAVE SITUATION. PARIS, Feburary 28. The Jugoslavs are reported to have authorised a general mobilisation, claiming that the Izonzo River be made the boundary between l£aly and Jugoslavia. Italy has suspended the return of Jugoslav prisoners, and refuses to allow Mr. Wilson to arbitrate on the boundary question. The Paris correspondent of the New York "World'" states that relation.-- between Italy and the Jugoslavs havt become very grave. The Peace Conference, fearing hostilities, is preparing for preventive economic measures. It is reported that shots have been exchanged by the opposing forces.— (A. and N.Z.)
