A woman was charged with double bigamy at Westminster Police Court, and with "defrauding the Commonwealth of separation allowances. The evidence showed that she married Bertram Adshead in London in 1007. Adshrsid is nenv » sergeant in the Australian forces. Subsequently she married Driver Reginald Paterson at Sydney in 19IS, and nevt Serseant William lioban in Ixmdon in 1918. Hoban has since been killed. It was stated thai the woman had Keen drawing about £20 » month as separation - allowances and pension. She was com I mitted for trial. Ar-u='d fainted several i times in the dock.
