<>n the lawn at, Devonport Convalescent Home, Sister K. \. Grant, N.ZJV.NJP., matron of the "Home." and Mrs. A. M. Mack ay. acting superintendent of the Devonport Division of St. •lohn Ambulance Brigade, were presented with gold wristlet watches suit al>l3' inscribed. The presentation was made by Captain Kewir-h, who, Rpeakiiuz on behalf of R.X.Z.A., N.Z.F.A.. and H.". Details, thanked 'both ladies for their untiring attention to the patients in hospital at Electric Light Yard. Devonport, during the recent epidemic. Serfreant-.:najor Valentine thanked the nursing staiT for tiieir many kind artions and all help they hail so willingly given. Over lid ollicers and members were present. Sinter Orant and Mrs. Mackay briefly thanked all for their kindness, and cheers were given for Sister Urant. Mr«s. Mackay, and all the nursing staff at Home. A pleasing feature of the prcsent-ation was that the men wjio had been patients all attended in person to thank the nurses, which is regarded as a very high military honour.
