LIQUOR REFERENDUM,
POLL ON APRIL 10. A 1.1. SOLDIERS MAY" VOTE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON", this day. A ''Gazette Extraordinary" fixes April 10 for the date of the licensing referendum. Begulations arc published for taking the votes of soldiers in camps, etc.. also those out of New Zealand. Por those in England and Europe special polling places will be provided, and the High Conrmiasioncr will cable the result to New Zealand. An official in Egypt, to be appointed by the High Commissioner, will conduct a poll for all men in the East, and cable the result. ■ Arrangements have also Ibeen made for men in Samoa, and.those who may be on board ship. In these two cases the iballot boxes will be scaled, and the votes counted on arrival iv New Zealand.
