FRANCE AND FINLAND.
(Received 12.10 p.m.) PARJS, October 14. France has declared her semi-official relations with Finland ended owing to the Diet illegally substituting a Monarchy for a Republic, and electing Prince Hesse to the Throne. The Consular Agent at Helsingfors has been entrusted with the protection of French interests. (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
