SITUATION IMPROVING. WAGON LOADS OE DEAD. (Received 11.10 a.m.) CAPETOWN 7 , October 13. The situation, as far as deaths are concerned, has decidedly improved. It is hoped that the back" of the epidemic is broken locally. The burials yesterday numbered 41MI, the bodies of coloured people being removed in wapon loads.. One hundred and fifty deaths were reported to-day. Kimbc-rloy's total of deaths is now 2,000. Illoemfonfein reports over 2,000 eases, bnt the results arc not yet serious.
