Straight Questions TO THE LIQUOR TRADE Will It Give Straight Answers ? 1. It 245,000 Electors vote for Prohibition and 155,000 Electors vote for State Purchase and 100,000 Electors vote for National Continuance Will there be 400,000 against the present system and only 100.000 for it ? The "Trade's" dishonest proposal would allow the Liquor Traffic to continue as at present. IQCyOdO votes woulql defeat 400,000 votes cast against the present system. 2. If this is not Minority Rule, What is? 3. Does the "Trade " really want "A FAIR BALLOT PAPER"? The New Zealand Alliance does I 4. Will the Trade agree to include on the Voting Paper Prohibition without Money compensation and without the 4% years , time compensation ? and 5. Will it advocate Preferential Voting so that Every Elector may express his judgment on each issue instead of one only ? i If this is not a Brewers , Petition will the Brewers say openly that they prefer the Efficiency Board's proposal, and if so, Why ? THE LIQUOR TRADE can fool some of the people all the time, BUT it can't fool ALL the people ALL the TIME.
