Louie Graham (30) -who had been found on private premises in Customs Street West at two o'clock this morning in company with a coloured man, -when charged with having- been found unlaw-. fully by night on private, premises, intimated that she did not understand Kngliah. She was remanded till Monday. ALLEGED BIGAMY. Ernest (2S) was charged that at Chrisfenurch, in September last, he committed bigamy, in that he went through the form of marriage with Pearl C. Accused was cook on tne trawler Muriel, and yeeterdav he brought the meat ashore and* left it in custody ot a barman in. an 'hotel. He went biek to his boat and finished up his duties as cook. He was leaving the ship when a constable,, who had got wind of, his actions, stopped him and charged him with the theft, which he admitted. Hβ said that if he had not taken the meaS it would have to be thrown away, but, m view of the fact that there was coll storage on the trawler, this statement) was not true. There was nothing igre* viously against Morris. Accused was fined 20/, and ordered t§ pay the value of the stolen meat, \ MISCELLANEOUS. Henry Patterson (81), an old man wa-ot had wandered away from the Knox. Home and had been found hobbling on a stick: at Mount Eden, near midnight, -was re* manded till Monday on a, charg<»%££ vagrancy. Frederick Bate, on a tharge o£ having deserted a child iv New South. Wales, was remanded for a week. Two lads of fifteen and sixteen years respectively, who had 'been causing annoyance and mischief by throwing stones at Newmarket, were admonished and discharged. a
