General Insurance Co.'s expenditure on burglary claims, compensation rose from £4370 in i 914 to £36,"i0n in 1913, 00,024 in 1916, and no less than £106.: MO in 1917. while in the first three months of 191S the company has already been notified of burglary damages estimated to require compensation of £50,000." •=
