OBJECTIVES GAINED ON TWO-MILE FRONT.
(Received 11.45 a.m.) IiONDON, August 28. A Belgian communique report*:-- After a short artillery action we attacked last evening on a front of two mile* north and couth of bangemarek railway. We penetrated the enemy positions despite stubborn resistance and a counterattack, and reached and maintained all our objectives.—(A. and N.Z. and Keuter.)
