It is the iutentiou of the parishioners of! f*t. Augustine's CUurcU. Nt Stanley Hay. to erect at an early date a vestry ami .mail hall in front of the present euilk-e. Funds are being raised, ami Rev. . bitty recently gave an organ recital in the church, when there was :t good attendance present, and a goodly sum of money added to the list. The annual tea meeting and concert held in connecion with ihe fres t>y tertun Sunday Schools of Devonport was held ju St. I'aul's Llall last uigtit. The hall was tilled to overflowing. The chief items of the concert were given liy the children theni--elves. who gave evidence of much careful training, and acquitted themselves iv a very commendable way. The funds of the whools will be considerably augmented by the function. A ladle*,' retiring or dressing room is very hadly needed at the Technical Sibool at Kevonport. The Advisory Committee connected wilh the school have been doing what they can to further the project, but k» far without success. It would also be a big improvement ir the school were lighted with electric light, bin .., far the committee has not been able to ,|,, auvtbins in I lie matter.
