LUSITANIA DAMAGES.
GERMANY MUST PAY. NEW YORK, August 27. A Judge of the United States Court has refused to compel the Cunard Line to pay damages in suits in which the claims aggregate between £1,600,000 and £2,000,000 in connection with the sinking of the Lusitania. Captain Turner was exonerated of all blame. The Judge declared that the evidence showed there were no explosives on board the Lusitania. — (A. and N.Z.) SEVEN DTTTCH VICTIMS. AMSTERDAM, August 27.
