AN ANGRY QUARREL. (Received 11.45 a.m.) AMSTERDAM, July 21. German newspapers give details of an angry quarrel between yon Kuhlmann j (ex-German Foreign Secretary) and the Kaiser at headquarters. LudendorfT. threatened to resign unless Kuhlmann! resigned. Baron yon Jlertling (Imperial Chancellor) replied that Kuhlmann would resign quietly during the Reichstag recess, but Kulilmann went to the Kaisur and refused to do this. A violent dispute ended in Kuhlmann's dismissal, and he was ordered back to Berlin by the first train.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
