MR WRAGGE'S FORECAST.

The following weather forecast was issued by Mr. Clement L. Wragge at 1.30 this afternoon:—"Conditions remain most unsettled under the operation of the new disturbance named Syrtes, which I rapidly succeeded the disturbance Levis. Further heavy and cold rain squalls may be expected from between west-north-west and eouth-eouth-west, with intervals of clearing sky. That the at mosphere, especially over the southern hemisphere, is affected by a gigantic I storm in the sun, which exceeds 10,000 miles in diameter, there is no doubt whatever, and at the present time there is no immediate prospect of a permanent improvement."
