A lecture, entitled " Seven Strands jin tlie Web of Destiny." was delivered ■by Miss C. W. Christie at the Town Hall ', Conceit Chamber Inst evening. The ! speaker said the soul had many ]i)"eperiods, anil wr.nt through an evolution to perfection in divine consciousness by means of the scientiiic law of cause and effect, or Karma. The manner in which this lanv operated in tho individual, the family, the nation, aud the race was explained.
