LATEST QUOTATIONS. National Bank 6hares increased in price to-day, buyers offering 117/6. South British Insurance could be placed ' at 126/6, and Xew Zealand at 199/, but j these rates did not tempt holders. ' Other investment stocks showed no chance worthy of note. In mining stocks, 9/ was offered for Talismans exdiv. paid to-dny. Waihi shares were wanted at 37/9, and buyers of Grand Junctions advanced to 12/3.

Talisman Consolidated, 1/ share July 22 ; National Bauk —Interim dividend of I 6 per cent and bonus, making 13 per cent per annum July 24 Sulphide Corporation—lnterim dividend (less income tax) of 2V per share on preference shares, and 1/G on ordinary shares July 25 Auckland Gas Company, fully paid —Interim half-yearly dividend of lid per share (proportionate amount on contributing shares^.. .July 26
CALLS. Sylvia Roofs, 2d August TALISMAN DIVIDEND. A dividend of 1/ per share was paid to-day by the Talisman Consolidated Company. This meant the distribution of £17,250, of which £13,434 15/ went to colonial shareholders. The total disbursed to shareholders has now reached £1,183,914 17/6.
