DESTRUCTIVE RAILWAY FIRE.
SYDNEY, July 15. A fire broke out in the Eveleigh railway workshops this morning. The out-, break was extinguished, but it is believed that the damage will approximate £20,000. A serious feature is that the fire destroyed a large building heavily stocked with truck covers and waterproof sheets for protecting rolling stock. Theee will be difficult to replace owing to the present scarcity of materials.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
