ORANGE FESTIVAL.
"CUSTEB AND UNIONISM. (Received 9.35 a.m.) LONDON, July 14. Belfast is holiday making at the weekend in honour of the great Orange festival celebrations on pre-war lines, for the first time during the war period. Rumours of counter-demonstrations proved to be without foundation. An enormous gathering- gave a warm ovation to Sir Edward Carson, who supported Lord Londonderry's resolution asserting that union was necessary for the security of the Empire.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
