CHURCH ARMY HUT FUND.

Subscriptions totalling nearly one thousand pounds have been received in, the Auckland district towards the fund for repliicing six of the Church Army huts lost in the recent German offensive. Tlie co?t ( .C 500) of one hut has already been subscribed at Te Aroha, and it ie hoped that the city area will provide two, and the Wnikato and North Auckland one each. The goldfields district is endeavouring to raise nioney for an additional hut. Church Army huts welcome men regaYdless of creed, and are established at naval bases as well as on the fighting fronts. Up to the present only one naval Church Army hut has been provided by Sew Zealand.
