r . ; j During the sitting of the Medical '■Board in Whangarei. which concluded on ■'Monday evening, a total of 233 men were ' examined for military service. Of these ■ SI were classed as A. 14 were classed CI, > and 110 were classed C*2, while one only ' was classed 81. As these were mostly ■ married men, this works out at a per- . centage of a little over 30 per cent men " lit. In the voluntary enlistments, twelve men presented themselves for examina- ; tion. Of these ten passed as A, and the other two were classed as C*2.
