NATIONAL RESERVE.
» The Women's National Reserve of Xew Zealand is making -a strong effort to awaken the women to the need of taking up work to replace the- men and also bringing pressure to bear on the Government to avail itself of the latest; woman power at hand. The Reserve is) asking for the assistance of every woman in this matter, and to bring the subject fully before them, has arranged a public meeting- to be held in the Rutland Street rooms one evening next week, wlhich will be addressed by Miss B. Butler. Miss Griffen. and Dr. Florence Keller. The Reserve is requesting that every woman who can shall be present, and if they foresee any difficulties, that they shall place them before the meeting, as it is the wish of the Reserve that women should stand shoulder to shoulder and make a combined effort to help towards ending the present great struggle, which will be when all power is fully exerted.
