An explosion destroyed a Government supply ship in an Atlantic port. The vessel was a large river steamer, and she had large supplies of munitions aboard for transhipment across the Atlantic. Particulars of the destruction are withheld, but it is stated that two of the crew are missing. The ship lies on the bottom of the harbour, with only her funnel and supstructure showing."
