On a train travelling from Halifax to j Montreal a soldier's -wife belonging to the latter city gave birth to twins, says an English paper. The interesting feature of the event for those outside the home circle is the fact that the first baby to arrive, a boy, was born in United States territory, and the second baby, a frill, in Canada. So the boy born in the U.S.A. must remain an "infant" until he is 21, when he will have the choice of remaining an American or becoming a Canadian citizen.
