A SECRETARY'S ARREST.
I " — ALLEGED LARGE DEFALCATIONS. ; A complaint of defalcations, alleged to total something over £500, led to the arrest yesterday by Detective-Sergt. ' Issel, of Louis Aloysius Frost (37).. cmi ployed as secretary for J. T. Julian and , Sons, building contractors. Accused j : came before IVIr: Wj-vern Wilson, S.M., I this morning, on a charge of having received £10 on behalf of Julian and Sons, I and having failed to account for same. I Chief Detective HcMahon stated that a I very much larger amount than that j mentioned in the charge was involved, [ and asked for a remand for a week. The j remand was granted, bail being granted jin two sureties of £150 each. '
