MANGATAPARUI ESTATE.

[(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) MOIiLN-SVILE. Saturday. Tie Minister of Lands, accompanied by Mr. Skeates, Commissioner for Crown Lands, and Mr. Thomson, Brainage Engineer, paid a visit of inspection to the Mangataparue Estate to-day, and received a deputation from the Chamber or Commerce and Farmers' Union, asking that in the survey of the estate provision he made for roads and a bridge site to give access to the roads on the Waitoa side of the Pialco River. This the Minister said would be done, and also agreed to reserve sites for a school, hall, and creamery. The Minister leaves for Rotorna this afternoon, and visits the Kexeone Soldiers' Settlement on .Wednesday.
