MINING NEWS.
WAIHI. ONE HUiSDREDTH DIVIDEND PAID. Shareholders in the Waihi G.M. Company on Saturday received a dividend of one shilling per share. This means the distribution of £24,795 7/„ of which £9833 9/ goes to shareholders on the colonial register. This is the one hundredth dividend paid by the Waihi Company, and brings up the total disbursed amongst shareholders to £5,025,522 17/S, out of a gross yield of £11,1)64,777.
WATOTAHJ. A parcel of 27 tons of ore from the Waiotahi mine, Thames, has been treated for a return of bullion valued approximately at £295.
