DEVONPORT COUNCIL.
A meeting of the Devonport Rorongh Council was held last evening, the Deputy Mayor, Mr W. K. Howitt, presidlnir Unlishted Vehicles—ln view ~r the number of onlighted vehicles in the Borough, and the common practice of persons riding bicycles on the footpaths. It was decided to bring both infringements under the notice of the police. Deviation Required.— It was decided to request the Devonport School Committee to apply to the Education Board for a sraut towards the cost of making a road deviation on tlie Mount Victoria Domain. The Coun< il expressed sympathy with the Mayor. Mr Jaa. Henderson, iv his continued illness.
