BUSINESS TO DATE £4,000,000. The Hon. Arthur Myers, Minister ie Charge of Munitions and Supplies, stated this morning that to date businesi approximating four millions sterling b»» been conducted by his Department * the direction of the supplies for military purposes. As regards requirements tor the calendar year 1918, the position it as foHows;—Cabinet authorised the expenditure of £1,300,000. Of this sum business to the value of £682,664 has been placed, made up as follower—Auckland £129,142, Wellington £296.678, Canterbury £116,683, Otago £140,161.
