OPERA HOUSE. A revival or mc Christy minstrel entertainment, beloved ot our school ilays, was the chiet feature of the new prograuiinc at Fuller's Opera House last night, with Mr John Fuller, acting us interlocutor, and tue members of tlie Johnson hevue Company completing the ••circle," with Messrs vv'arton, iJurgese, l.ashbruoke, Jonnson, b'rauks, ana Bates supplying Uie bones and tambourine specialities of the coloured euamen. Xhe familiar joke, song, conundrum, and interruption entertainment seemed to meet the fancy of the large audience. Tlie most popular of the song Items was that of ili.se i> Jo -Newman, who exhibited a pleablug ana tuneful uiezzo-sopruuo voice in the pretty auug, "God bjeuu i'ou UacK to Mc," which earned her a double encore, bhe proved a decidedly popular acquisition to tue singing strength of the company. Mr John b uller, whose tenor voice has retained Its sweetness wonderfully, was successful in the solo "We -Uout lvmr.v How We Love Them," aud as an encore he gave one of his old-time successes, "Sally in Our Ally." Of the other solo items, the one most appreciated was that of the Starr Sisters In their song '-Saving All My Love," with rope dance specialty. In the second part of the programme a new turn is provided by Mnurlcno's troupe of trained dogs, tlie animate furnishing an interesting exhibition of canine intelligence by their manner of Imitating two-legged artistes, one of them taking a clown part with success. Denny and LMiiinlgan. who have become decided favourites with the crowd, provided a new series of musical comedy sketches, which they put on most artistically, earning the undoubted appreciation and good favour of the audience. The Lewius reappeared in their Chinese role with a bright turu of dance and harmony, while the -lohuGon lli'vue Company completed entertainment with a farce "Black Justice," In which the decorum of the court-room is screamingly burlesqued by coons whose prliiirtlVe impulses make merry ecejies in court. This programme will be repeated nightly (luring the week, and on the usual Wednesday and Saturday matinee performances. NATIONAL THEATRE. The bill of fare set before patrons of the Natioual Theatre this week is quite satisfactory. Fox presents ' The Yankee Way, " an interesting story In which love and adventure are brought down to comedy. This is the feature of the programme, and Its star actor Is George Walsh. "The Yankee Wiy" is beautifully mounted, and la a photoplay of a high grade, with pretty settings and exciting incidents aud humour galore. It is supported by thp tuuetni National orchestra, and by sundry lilms that are topical, and travelogues and comedies. TIJK TIVOLI THEATRE. The headliner current at tlie Tivoli is the ! I.asky drama "The Jaguar's Claws." an exciting play in which the ehlef characterisation is made by tsessue llayakawa. The story combines romauee with excitement, and brings up subtlety and cunning lln a picturesque setting. The supporting films are of much Interest, and the harmonious music of the Tivoli orchestra l> a feature of each entertainment THE AKCADIA. The William Fox drama, "Her (Greatest Love," in wbleb the famous screen star Thcda Bara plays the most important role. Is running at the head of the current programme at the Arcadia Theatre this afternoon and evening. The drama bus several lent musical accompaniment. THE KMPRESS. Thp leading Him subject at thp I'JuipresE Theatre Is "The Flame of the Yukou." a Triangle drama wherein Dorothy Dalton plays in a vampire role. OTFIKIt PICTURE ENTKUTAINMKNTS. At the Princess Theatre "Daybreak," a Metro drama, holds prkle of place. In several acts of good story, wltn luxurious settings ami a quaint charac-ter-interest, ..liss Olive Thomas appears in "Llmouslue Life" at the Strand.
