The Sub-Inspector said that Matson had refused to- leave the place when a meal -was not forthcoming, and had to bo put out. He then tried to get even by deliberately breaking a pane of window-glass by kicking it. Matson was fined 15/, the cost of the damage. MISCELLANEOUS. r Peter Jensen Brask, a Danish seaman, said that, he was ignorant of the war regulations in this respect when charged with having failed to register as an alien. Tho police evidence showed that he bad I plenty of time in which to notify the authorities of his nationality, and it was only when he was held lup at a shipping office that he was found lout. The Sub-Inspector said that it was I something more than negligence; it was |total indifference. A fine of £2 and costs jwas imposed. ! George Burnett Songhurst (22) was charged with the use of indecent lanjsruaßo.
